BUDE SHINES THROUGH IN FRANK WILLS SALVER QUARTER FINAL!

On a bright sunny day at Newquay, with a strong cold wind to contend with, this was a strongly contested quarter final match against Cape Cornwall. With some excellent play from both teams, the Bude team came through to win 3-2 and will now play Trevose in the semi final.

WINTER OPENS COMING SOON!

The club has decided to hold four Open competitions over the winter period on the following dates:

Wednesday 11th and 25th January
Wednesday 22 February
Wednesday 14 March

The format will be any combination of teams 4BBB stableford (3/4 handicap). Entries can be made by telephoning the Secretary or Pro Shop.
Alternatively a booking form can be downloaded from the website.
The entry fee per day is £5 for members and £12 for non-members.

LADIES COFFEE MORNING PROVES A GREAT SUCCESS!

Despite very wet conditions there was a good turn out from both visiting
and Bude members for this event. Various stalls in the club house selling
a range of items donated for the occasion proved very popular.
The proceeds will be going to the Stratton hospital appeal.

BREAST CANCER CAMPAIGN FUN DAY!

As part of the national 'Wear it pink' day in support of breast cancer
research this event was well attended.

Thirty lady members dressed in a range of suitable pink attire took part in
a match comprised of teams of three, on what turned out to
be a glorious day weather wise.

Overall winners with 77 points were Jean Pearce, Judith Smith
and Dolores Jopson.

At the presentations after the competition Ladies current captain
Margaret Swayne and forthcoming captain Yvonne Gardiner thanked
all those who had taken part in the day's event for
their generous donations.
£300 was raised in total for the cause.

WINTER MEMBERSHIP NOW AVAILABLE!

Full members of another Club are able to apply for winter membship at
Bude & North Cornwall for £96. This covers the period 1st January
2012 to 31 March 2012.
