Bude  - North Cornwall

Bude, on the scenic North Cornwall coast, is a lively Cornish seaside holiday
resort and home to Bude & Nth. Cornwall Golf Clubs 18 hole links course
which has some of the finest greens in South West England.

Situated in the centre of town and near the beach there are numerous choices
of accommodation in and around the town such as camp & caravan parks, B&B guesthouses, self catering flats and several hotels, many providing special
golf breaks with reduced green fees, several are located adjacent to the course.

As well as some of the best surfing beaches in the U.K., there are lots of outdoor activities available in the local area such as horse riding, sea and fresh water
fishing, kayaking, karting and mountain boarding, tennis courts, four squash
courts, two bowling clubs. There are also a number of surf schools and
activity centres catering for all ages.

The less active may enjoy breathtaking cliff walks on the Cornish coastal path
or a quiet stroll along the tranquil canal, with the only canal lock and
seagate to the open sea in Britain. For a day out there is the world famous
Eden Project, and for families there are several adventure parks.

Throughout the summer there are various activities such as lifeboat day,
poldark fayre, and a week long festival of jazz with visiting
international and national performers.
