Head Green-keeper Jaime Acton

An experienced and accomplished Golf Course Manager with first rate leadership skills and a proven track record of success. Over the past 16 years I have successfully managed two Golf Courses and have built a reputation for being positive and highly resilient under pressure. I have been able to consistently develop excellent working relationships with fellow employees, members, guests, and Club Officials. I have always enjoyed setting and maintaining high standards with all aspects of my work. My attention to detail and my desire to produce quality perennial surfaces for the customer to enjoy has always been a high priority to me and using my experiences with fine grasses and my grounding with the firm, fast game, I’ve been able to achieve impressive results. I have played a leading role in the planning, budgeting, and implementation of several key projects over that time which have, in particularly, helped elevate my current Golf Course.

During my time in management, I have implemented and adhere to a detailed Health & Safety Policy and have introduced a series of Risk and COSHH assessments aimed at ensuring the safety of my staff, golfers, and members of the public. Included within this is also the safe and responsible upkeep of an extensive fleet of Mowing Equipment all of which requires that Service and Maintenance schedules are kept to.

During the past 27 years working in Golf, I have always tried to lead from the front and encourage others to be the best they can be.
